Meet Dr. Shane Methal, DDS
Dedication to providing superior dental care to all patients
“Dr. Shane” graduated from the University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery in 1994 where he was a proud member of The Gorgas Odonatological Honorary Society, after receiving his BS in Biology from Cornell University. He completed his residency training in Advanced Education in General Dentistry.

Dr. Shane returned home to NY from Maryland in 1998 and has been in private practice on the Upper West Side, SoHo, and now in Park Slope, Brooklyn. He was also a distinguished faculty member at the NYU College of Dentistry from 2000-2015. To Dr. Shane, dentistry is not just drilling and filling, but the perfect blend of art and science.

Although he loves many facets of dentistry, he most enjoys getting to know his patients. To him, the heart of patient care is taking a personalized approach because each patient and their smile is special.
